November, December 2008 into January of 2009 I was very fortunate to be involved with a group of extremely talented and creative professionals working on the brand new Tampa Bay History Center project. Working for Bob Noll and the fantastic crew from Boston Productions as well as the world renown designer Jonathan Bean from from the UK, on a state of the art multi media exhibit Coacoochee’s Story Theater .

 

November working with DMS shooting the brand new ship for Celebrity Cruise Lines the Solstice.

It has been several months since my last update have been busy busy through the summer with projects for Publix, Pro Towel, two days in Sarasota, 7 days in sunny Phoenix AZ forMarriott Phoenix Arizona and of course quality vacation time with my amazing daughter!

DMS began shooting on a project for long time client Clear Choice Windows and More for the Simonton brand.  Working with Brian Satchfield as Director of Photography and Sean Deren , still photographer,  I am producing for both video and still photography. It has been a busy July!

Teamed up with commercial photographer Steve Kovich and Stylist Leslie Webber for a print project for Publix Super markets.

One of several other gigs I completed this past week included a commercial shoot for the WWE with superstar wrestler Dave Batista.  Shooting on a rainy night in Tampa, with a rain rig from Cine a bar and a supertechno crane rig!

Just finished a week long stock shoot with several photographers, shooting at Ft. Desoto park, Clearwater Beach and several other fine area hotspots! 50,000 images later!

I Had the very distinct pleasure of working with one of the most well known photographers in the world Nigel Parry, on a project for the National Football League. Shooting on location at the number 1 rated beach in the country Caladesi Island Fl., shooting the trophy for the NFL's number 1 team.  The Vince Lombardi Trophy!

Vince Mann served as Unit Production Manager on a $250,000.00  international 90 sec spot for Johnny Walker Scotch  which filmed in Tampa during the last week of March 2008 !  Thanks to ALL my Crew especially my core group A TEAM,  Rob Kildoo served as AD,  Sean Deren served as the Digi tech Photo Assistant for the still portion of the project, Rob Adamo provided rental strobe equipment.  Brian Satchfield shot 8 hours of behind the scene video. The spots feature New York Yankees star pitcher Chien-Ming Wang!

I recently had the honor of working with legendary sports photographer Walter Ioose whose award winning work spans nearly 40 years as a true professional photographer (and really nice guy), 37years of which he has worked for Sports Illustrated Magazine.  Walter regularly shoots the storied Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Edition.  Today's shoot was with rising stars of the tennis world, the Bryan brothers at the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Fl.

Bush Gardens Shoot

Vince Mann served as lead in the art department for another amazing Busch Gardens Commercial with Mirror Films out of LA, we shot Tuesday at the park promoting the newest attraction Jungala`. White Bengal Tigers, cute  orangutans and lots of great kids what a shoot!

Congratulations to Director Curtis Graham  on his recent acquisition of the long awaited fully functional digital RED camera, we look forward to many shoots with this fine piece of technology!

"The Casualty" a 35 mm feature film completed shooting in and around St Pete on the 18th of March produced by Persona Films out of New York this Russian language comedy love story it will have theatrical release throughout Europe. Members of my A team were on board the project as well as the guys at First Unit, Vince Mann served as Gaffer, thanks to all it was большой  (GREAT)!. "See ya at the movies"!

Just completed a project, as Production Coordinator, for Players Club Magazine and Baseball legend Mr. Lenny Dykstra.   Working again with Derek Jeter and world renown Director & Photographer Sam Jones.  For the premiere issue of the new magazine. Thanks to my A Team Sean Deren and Brian Satchfield and of course Romel Wagener of central Florida Strobe for their dedication and hard work to create another satisfied client.

HGTV Haulin House  Vince working camera on HGTV Hauling House series which shot this month in Arcadia Fl.  Look close the house is on a trailer and was moved over a mile down a county highway.

On set as camera operator for the Home & Garden Television network series Hauling House. The episode was filmed over thee days in Arcadia Fl. in Feb 2008.

Principle photography has WRAPPED on the feature film "Misconceptions" a Dram-omedy starring Orlando Jones ("Drumline," "Mad TV"),  A.J. Cook ("Final Destination 2," "The Virgin Suicides," "Criminal Minds"), David Sutcliffe ("Under the Tuscan Sun," "Gilmore Girls"), David Moscow ("Numb3rs," "Riding in Cars With Boys") and Sarah Carter ("DOA: Dead or Alive," "Smallville").
It was filmed in St Petersburg and surrounding area throughout the month of January 08.
